Online Reputation Management by Google

Google presents a new way to manage your online reputation (I’m assuming on the Google search engine anyway). It’s a new tool in their “Me on the Web” area of your Google dashboard.

You basically stay updated by receiving alerts when your name and/or email pop up on the web. Great way to be informed when people are talking about you – both good and bad.

It would be interesting to see if although Google search engine handles how your name is displayed, if Yahoo and Bing will allow your name to still be shown in the original way – before using online reputation management.
