Holidays Brought On Sales

For merchants 2009, which is just a twinkle ago, actually saw an increase in sales by 1% according to SpendingPulse. But what if you don’t have the monthly sales reports in front of you, or you want to track it deeper than just sales? Without knowing the overall sales of the month of Dec in 2009, SEO gurus will be checking their client’s analytics for increases in traffic.

Many businesses selling products fared well despite the failing economy. Checking Google Analytics for a client can show you how much that holiday traffic increased, where most of the visitors entered from, and how well certain keywords might have worked.

It’s good to hear that consumers spent more, and even better to see how the traffic rose.
