It’s here, a new beta within Google results and Google image results that will pull information from your friends and make Search results more social. Facebook has been working with the technology for a while and just has not yet made the connection that results in a tool that people are using for search, but on the other hand Google may have the technology but not the ‘friend’ base to make it the success it could be.
From Google (and image by Google):
More easily find relevant blogs, reviews and other public content from your social circle.
Sign in to Google and do a search. If there’s relevant web content written by people in your social circle, it will automatically show up at the bottom of your search results under a section called “Results from people in your social circle.”
To see even more social content you can click the “Show options” link at the top of the results page and then click on the “Social” link.
What is your social circle? It’s a combination of your Gmail chat buddies, your Gmail contacts friends, family and co-worker groups, and people you’re publicly connected to on other social sites (such as Twitter and FriendFeed). Learn more about social search.
This experiment is only available for searches from the google.com domain, and your interface language must be set to English.
When you go in to Google images to do a search you will start to see the Social designation, this is being turned on for users over the next few days. So the images you see will be marked that they are from the friends in your social circle (you may have to opt in to the beta program).
The good news, if you sign out of your Google account the results will go back to the ordinary personalized search results we are all used to seeing now. Have fun playing iwth this one, it may make us all put more effort in to expanding our Google friends … or might just go stale on the branch until Google and FaceBook decide to play together more.
What is your experience with this new addition to Google Search results?

Really I feel that Google Buzz’s release was a little too early, especially in regards to privacy. I really think that Google’s most likely going down the path that Windows experienced around the era of Windows 98. The latest releases and releases seem to be less planned and I also feel like rushed the first in the industry, and or compete with its competitors releases. The breach of privacy was something that didn’t require was a very simple issue to figure out, a very simple idea session could have shown such issues. Do you think Google may have received too much credit last year?
SEO is tough, I know. I am having a problem, hoping someone here could help me. You see, I tried ‘on page seo’ on my site, and getting backlinks. However I’m still not getting any visible results! Do you have any other advice for backlinking? I tried what I could understand already. Thanks again!!
